GT Emissions Systems Official Inauguration of New Manufacturing Facility in Jigani, India
Jigani, India – April 2026 — GT Emissions Systems has officially inaugurated its new manufacturing facility in Jigani on March 23rd 2026, marking a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy and reinforcing its commitment to the growing Indian market.
The opening ceremony was attended by senior leadership from the United Kingdom, including directors Steve Wright, Ian Black, and Dean Machnicki and senior managers Chris Hutler, Chris Small, and Neil Cardy, all of whom travelled from the UK to commemorate the occasion.
The inauguration featured a traditional Hindi blessing ceremony conducted by two local elders, symbolising prosperity and success for the new facility. In keeping with sustainability values, members of the visiting delegation and local team also participated in a tree-planting initiative on-site.
The UK leadership team expressed strong appreciation for the efforts of the India-based team, led by Chris Hodge, with key support from Gajendra Singh, Jayanth Jayaram, and Muralidhar Chalapaati. The leadership highlighted the exceptional work carried out in establishing the facility within a short timeframe.
Production at the Jigani plant commenced at the beginning of 2026, with two operational lines already running. The facility is expected to play a key role in supporting regional demand and enhancing the company’s manufacturing capabilities.
Speaking at the event, company representatives highlighted the importance of the new facility in strengthening supply chain resilience and enhancing production efficiency. They also emphasized the achievements of the local team, noting that the pace and quality of development exceeded expectations.
